Diabetes is very common and becoming more common as people of all ages get fatter and do less exercise. It is most common in adults between the ages of 60 to 75 years old. If you are a diabetes patient then you should know about the rule of diabetes diet. Diabetes patients must strictly pay attention on their diet since it can bring fatal impact if they do not obey the diet rules for them. Diabetes diet is simple and not hard to be understood, but it is quite hard to be followed.
Patients with diabetes should cut out as much carbohydrates (bread, pasta, potatoes, sweet foods) as possible and eat a low fat, low salt, healthy diet with lots of vegetables. They should also avoid fruits containing a lot of sugar (such as mangos, lychees, and pineapple). Diabetes diet also forbid patient to not eat cakes, cookies, jams, chocolate, sweets, raisins, and other sweet foods. Even low sugar foods contain quite a lot of sugar. Sweet drinks and soda full of sugar are bad. All types of alcohol contain sugar and are also bad.
I understand if you feel not live since you should obey the rule to not eat foods as much as you want. But, in order to avoid fatal impact from breaking the rules of diabetes diet, you should still follow the rule whether you like it or not. This is solely for your kindness.
