10 Steps to Reduce Stress

We all know that stress is closely related to the health problems, and almost people in the world must have experienced stress in their life, even baby can have it. Therefore, we have to anticipate this stress situation or we should swallow the bitter pills of it. There is method to reduce stress situation in your life. Check these 10 steps method in reducing your stress:

  • Step 1. Identify what makes you stressed or depressed, and try to change and fix it.
  • Step 2. Remember that if you want to feel better, a positive attitude will surely help you feel better, but it will not happen overnight, it takes time.
  • Step 3. Get physically and emotionally fit.
  • Step 4. Get into a daily routine of eating a healthy food, varied diet with no additives and that is low in fat and also salt content. Drink as little alcohol as possible. Stop smoking completely and drink caffeine in moderation.
  • Step 5. Exercise every day. It makes you fit and refresh.
  • Step 6. Get plenty of rest and sleep. These are very important, so don’t let yourself lack of rest and sleep.
  • Step 7. Surround yourself with nice, humorous, supportive people whom you can talk to. I myself feel comfortable around people who is nice and, moreover, humorous, this makes me feel less stress.
  • Step 8. Find something interesting in your daily routine. If you can’t, consider changing the routine. Find a hobby or a project, working either alone or with supportive people whom you feel comfortable with.
  • Step 9. If you feel tearful, sad, unhappy, desperate, or suicidal, speak to your doctor. At least, find someone whom you can chat with about your sad-feeling, I believe this much can help.
  • Step 10. Whatever you do, do not give up. If the program works, continue. If it does not work, keep going; it will work eventually.

Those ten steps above are not strict. Everybody must have self ways to solve their stress issue. But, I really hope those steps can help you in reducing stress in your life.
